The Channel Islands YMCA is an association of seven YMCA branches serving Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.

The Camarillo Family YMCA at 3111 Village at the Park Drive (805.484.0423) provides access to health and wellness information and activities for all ages. The Camarillo Family YMCA- Hiji Center has a wide variety of adult and senior programs, including aquatics, aerobics and cardiovascular exercise, weight and strength training, yoga, basketball and volleyball leagues, triathlon training and more!

The Aquatics Center at the Camarillo Family YMCA provides instructional swim programs for all ages, ability levels and interests. The Ventura Family YMCA at 3760 Telegraph Road (805.642.2131) has served the City of Ventura for over 130 years. It got its start on September 30, 1887 with a house that was purchased on the corner of Santa Clara and Oak Street. Today, the Ventura Family YMCA has grown with an expansive 6,000 facility members and provides childcare to over 200 children in its after-school programs. Pleasant Valley Swim Team in Camarillo

The Pleasant Valley Swim Team (PVST) is a year-round competitive swimming organization that has been developing outstanding community members in Camarillo and Ventura County for over four decades. PVST trains at the indoor Pleasant Valley Aquatic Center - the only indoor facility in Ventura County.

PVST accepts new members aged 6-18 on an ongoing basis, space permitting. A swim tryout is required for prospective new members for minimum skills assessment and group placement

The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Ventura serves more than 3,000 children ages 6 to 18 each year, many of them from disadvantaged circumstances.  The numbers keep growing, but with the ongoing community support, Ventura's children will continue to have a safe, friendly and educational place where they can have fun, learn, play and grow. Ventura County Junior Tennis Association

Ventura County Junior Tennis Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting youth tennis in Ventura, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles Counties. Through the efforts of its many volunteers and the generosity of sponsors, VCJTA strives to provide opportunities for youth to enjoy the great sport of tennis. Join in the fun! Oxnard Police Activities League (PAL)

Oxnard Police Activities League (PAL) is a citywide, after-school crime prevention program that provides outreach to local youth, ages 4 to 18, to build positive relationships between youth, police officers and the community. PAL's mission is to divert youth away from gangs and other criminal activity by providing a wide variety of positive alternatives under the care and supervision of trained police officers, recreation staff and community volunteers. Membership at PAL is FREE and of all of PAL's programs are offered at low or no cost to participants.

Studio 17 Art Classes in Newbury Park

Located in Newbury Park, Studio 17 provides art instruction to children and adults with special needs. Local artist Mary Abraham opened the studio and is an educator, artist and parent of a child with autism; she brings a special understanding of how to teach the arts to students with special needs.

Brandon's Buddies Free Kids Club in Calabasas

Brandon's Buddies is a free kids club that meets every month at Brandon's Village at Gates Canyon Park located at 25801 Thousand Oaks Boulevard, Calabasas. This playground is the first fully-accessible playground in the region. The day may include integrated play, face painting, arts and crafts, entertainment and treats.  Feel free to bring a sack lunch.

All children with and without disabilities and their families who want to spend a great day playing in the sunshine and making friends are invited to participate!

Brandon's Buddies gives children with disabilities the opportunity to play with their typically-able peers, while giving their parents a chance to share experiences and advice with other parents/caregivers.  It gives children without disabilities the chance to get to know their peers and gain greater awareness and compassion.

2nd Saturday at the Adobe in Agoura Hills

2nd Saturday at The Adobe is a monthly family program for families with kids age 3 to 8. Hours are 1:30-3:30PM.

Stop by the Reyes Adobe Historical Site to participate in hands on activities and make art projects geared towards a monthly theme. Before your visit, have a lunch in the park, enjoy the playground, or bring games to play on the grass. Activities are geared towards kids ages 3-8 and are free with donations cheerfully accepted. Docent led tours of the historic museum are also available for all ages.
