Before you gobble, gobble, get out and run Ventura County’s fastest 5K on Thanksgiving morning!

Head to the Ventura Auto Center, 6451 Auto Center Drive, Ventura, on Thursday, November 28, 2024 for the annual Ventura Turkey Trot.

This fast and fun 5K starts at 8 a.m. For the 14 and under crowd, there’s the Kids 1K which starts at 9:15 a.m. Registration includes finisher’s shirt, electronic chip timing and post-race food.

Annual Camarillo YMCA Run For Holiday Fun 5K/10K on December 7, 2024

The Annual Camarillo YMCA Fun for Holiday Run 5K/10K, will take place in the Village at the Parks community in beautiful Camarillo at 8 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2024.

The course takes you through a scenic walking path and is a friendly course for both novice and experienced runners. Be sure to sign up as soon as possible as this race is capped at 500 runners!

100% of all proceeds will go towards the Camarillo YMCA Open Doors Scholarship Fund that allows children, youth, families, and seniors to participate in the programs the YMCA so uniquely provides.

11th Annual Moorpark Mammoth Run 5K/10K on Sunday, October 6, 2024

The Rotary Club of Moorpark presents the Moorpark Mammoth Run 5K/10K and Family 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, October 6, 2024.

Runners can enjoy the beauty of Moorpark's unique landscape and compete in a fast, mostly flat 5k/10k race. There's also a 1 mile fun run/walk planned. Everyone gets a T-shirt (1 per family in the fun/run walk), goody bag, free raffle ticket and participation ribbon. Winners get medals. Registration and check-in begin at 7:00am.

All proceeds will benefit local charities through the Moorpark Rotary Foundation and this year a portion of the proceeds will go toward the eradication of polio. All donations to polio will be matched by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

2024 Reyes Adobe Days "RAD" 5K on Saturday, October 5, 2024

The Reyes Adobe Days RAD Run 5K is planned for Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 8am. Reyes Adobe Days celebrates 20 years of Art & Culture in Agoura Hills. The race will take place on a (previously certified) flat and fast course, starting and ending at the Whizin Market Square in Agoura Hills. Custom medals awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place age group winners. Age groups: 13 & Under, 14-19, 20-29 30-39,40-49,50-59,60-69,70 & over.

Not only will participants have the opportunity to test their speed and endurance, but they will also be supporting a great cause. Haunted Housing Run is a Halloween-themed 5K run/walk in support of the Housing Authority of the City of San Buenaventura (HACSB) Scholarship Program. Each year HACSB awards scholarships to current residents of affordable housing communities owned and/or managed by HACSB who are currently enrolled at a four-year college/university, community college, or vocational school.

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Conejo Valley event is a life-changing experience that gives everyone in their community a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, Remember loved ones lost, and Fight Back against the disease.  The 2024 event will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 7:30 am to 8 pm at California Lutheran University’s Memorial Field, 141 Memorial Pkwy, Thousand Oaks.

The goal of the event is to raise funds and awareness for cancer treatment and research

31st Annual California Lemon Festival in Goleta September 28-29, 2024
