4th of July Family Parade at Channel Islands Harbor on Thursday, July 4, 2024

The Channel Islands Harbor 4th of July Family Parade is back on Thursday, July 4, 2024! The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. at Albacore Way, travels north up Harbor Blvd. and ends at Cabezone Circle, home to Marine Emporium Landing. 2024 City of Agoura Hills Summer Concerts in the Park - June through August

The City of Agoura Hills Department of Community Services and the DIY Home Center present the 2024 Summer Concerts in the Park. Concerts are held at 6pm on Sundays and are free of charge. (Donations are encouraged.)

All concerts will be held at Chumash Park, 5550 Medea Valley Drive, Agoura Hills, with the exception of the July 21st concert that will be held at the Agoura Hills High PAEC at 28545 W. Driver Avenue.

2024 City of Calabasas 4th of July Activities (No Fireworks This Year Due to Construction)

The City of Calabasas will not be hosting 4th of July fireworks in 2024 due to construction at the school.

OTHER 4TH OF JULY ACTIVITIES

The Lakeside Fun Run is presented by the Calabasas Park Homeowners Association at the Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center. Events begin at 7:45 am and include 4 and 2 mile runs, 2 mile walk and 1/4 mile races for youth 12 and under.

Summer Splash Party at the Tennis & Swim Center, 2300 Park Sorrento, on July 4th from noon–5:30 pm. Spend the day poolside. BBQ for sale at site. There will be games, prizes, music and more. Admission $5. Ages 2 and under free.

2024 Ventura County Greek Festival in Camarillo June 28, 29 and 30

The 45th Ventura County Greek Festival will take place June 28, 29 and 30 back, after 10 years offsite, at Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Camarillo.

The event features live Greek music, folk dancing, food, delicious pastries and baklava, vendors, petting zoo, and a kids' play area.

Festival times are 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.

4th of July Fireworks Spectacular Event at Janss Marketplace on Thursday, July 4, 2024

The public is invited to the best FREE Conejo Valley July 4th community celebration and fireworks viewing at Janss Marketplace. The event, which begins at 5 p.m., features live music, children’s entertainment, and food booths. The patriotic holiday celebration finale fireworks at 9 p.m. are presented by Conejo Recreation and Park District and City of Thousand Oaks.

Entry is free to the July 4th event activities and fireworks viewing area on the rooftop at Janss Marketplace, located at 275 North Moorpark Road East in Thousand Oaks. Bring folding chairs and arrive early to ensure access to the shopping center’s rooftop event area.

Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District presents the 2nd Annual Summer Palooza at Community Center Park, 1605 E. City of Santa Paula 4th of July Drone Show on Thursday, July 4, 2024

The Rotary Club of Santa Paula Rotary is sponsoring this year’s first ever Fourth of July drone show in partnership with the City of Santa Paula. This innovative and environmentally conscious alternative will allow the community to celebrate this Fourth of July holiday with a spectacular visual experience with increased safety for both people and animals, since drones do not produce loud noises that can distress pets and wildlife. It will also reduce the risk of accidents and fire hazards providing a safer celebration for everyone.

The drone show, featuring 150 drones, promises to illuminate the sky with 12 to 15 minutes of stunning displays synchronized to music and will take place at Harding Park (1300 E. Harvard Blvd) between 9pm and 9:30pm on July 4th; however, spectators are welcome to start entering the fields around 5pm for an evening packed with family fun including lawn games, a jolly jump, a wagon train, delicious food trucks and unique vendors. Parking is limited to street options, so plan please ahead. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the show from our three grassy viewing areas. www.spcity.org

69th Annual Conejo Valley Days Carnival in Thousand Oaks June 20-23 and 26-30, 2024

Conejo Valley Days will be back in 2024 starting June 20th through 23rd and June 26th through 30th at Conejo Creek Park South (Janss Road at the 23 Freeway).

The event will feature carnival rides, midway games, live entertainment, vendors and fair food.

Admission is $10, cash only, for ages 10 and up. Ages 5 to 9 are $5. Children four and under are free. Active military free with current ID. Limited parking is $5.

Venue will open at 5pm on weekdays and 1pm on weekends.

City of Thousand Oaks Pop-Up Arts & Music Festival Every Friday/Saturday, May 31 to June 29

The City of Thousand Oaks brings its annual Pop-Up Arts & Music Festival to the city every Friday and Saturday starting May 31 and running through the month of June.

The festival features “pop-up” public performances at various locations throughout Thousand Oaks. The goal of the festival is to provide residents with an opportunity to actively participate in and enjoy the arts without having to come to the theatre. People are encouraged to bring their own chair/blanket, food and drink and come enjoy great entertainment on a summer evening.

The festival this year will feature ten free events over five weekends from May 31- June 29, 2024. In partnership with local arts organizations, the festival will include local and regional artistic talent, in addition to nationally recognized performing artists.
