27th Annual Oxnard Multicultural Festival on Saturday, October 5, 2024

The 27th Annual Oxnard Multicultural Festival is presented by the City of Oxnard's Community Relations Commission.

The festival is held annually on the first Saturday of October. The festival celebrates the rich cultural diversity of its residents and the city’s history. People of every culture come together to learn and discover their shared values in an atmosphere that honors all.

The festival offers a variety of performing groups, live music, food trucks, exhibitors, demonstrations and hands-on activities for the entire family. Admission is always free.   The 2024 event is Saturday, October 5th from 10am to 4pm at Plaza Park, 500 South C Street in Oxnard.

12th Annual Ventura County Farm Day on Saturday, November 2, 2024

More than 15 Ventura County farms, ranches and agricultural organizations will open their doors to the public to experience a day of free agricultural activities and tours during the 11th Annual Ventura County Farm Day, Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The day includes behind-the-scenes tours, tractor-with-trailer rides, tastings, giveaways and kid-friendly activities. Farm Day allows the public to meet local farmers who grow the food we eat.

The nonprofit 501(c)(3) Students for Eco-Education and Agriculture (SEEAG) organizes Ventura County Farm Day. Dia De Los Muertos Event at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park on Saturday, October 26, 2024

The 43rd Annual Dia De Los Muertos festival will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 10am to 5pm at the Conejo Mountain Funeral Home, Memorial Park and Crematory, 2052 Howard Road in Camarillo.

Free event will include face painting, build your own altar, art exhibit, local food and craft vendors, vintage car show, ceremonial procession, performances, drawings and more. www.conejomountain.com

2024 Halloween Carnival in Oak Park on Thursday, October 31st

The Rancho Simi Park District is hosting its annual Halloween Carnival on Thursday, October 31, 2024 from 3:30-6:30 pm at the Oak Park Community Center, 1000 N. Kanan Road. For ages 12 and under - inflatables, game booths, face painting, balloon artist, food and more.

Advance tickets are $5 for kids 2 to 12 (parents and children under 3 are free). Pre-registration ends October 30th at rsrpd.org. (Tickets should be available in October but call 818-865-9304 to confirm.) Tickets on the day of the event will be $10 per person.

Howl-O-Ween Event at Mission Oaks Dog Park in Camarillo on Saturday, October 26, 2024

Bring your dog in their scariest, funniest, most original costume – or even do matching costumes with your dog, to Howl-O-Ween at Mission Oaks Park, 5501 Mission Oaks Boulevard, Camarillo (in the off leash area) on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 10am to 1pm. Free admission. No registration necessary. Dog costume contest, pet vendors, raffles and food trucks will be on hand (or paw).

Dogs are to be kept on a leash with a leash length not exceeding 6 feet. Owners must follow dog park rules and regulations.

Mission Oaks Dog Park is an off-leash dog park, but for special events such as Howl-O-Ween, leashes are required.

Dogs may be off-leash in the designated area to perform in the best trick contest and must be back on a leash immediately following their trick.

2024 Hueneme Beach Festival Planned for September 7-8

The City of Port Hueneme presents the Hueneme Beach Festival the weekend of September 7-8, 2024. Hours are 11am to 7pm both days.

Conejo Recreation & Park District (CRPD) announces its 2nd Annual Festival de los Muertos event, a vibrant celebration of the cherished Mexican tradition, will be taking place on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 4-9PM at the Borchard Community Center, located at 190 N. Reino Rd, Newbury Park.

The Ventura County Sheriff's Foundation presents "Coppers and Choppers" free family event on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 11am to 2pm at the Ventura County Sheriff's Dept Air Unit at the Camarillo Airport, 375 Durley Ave, Ste A, Camarillo. 2024 ArtWalk Ventura on Saturday and Sunday, September 21-22

ArtWalk Ventura, returns on Saturday and Sunday, September 21 and 22, 2024. Hours are noon to 5pm on Saturday and 11am to 4pm on Sunday.
