HOLIDAY SING-A-LONG - DECEMBER 8, 2024

Join the City of Westlake Village and The Shoppes Westlake Village at the annual Holiday Sing-Along on Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 3-6pm. This event will be held in the Fountain Courtyard next to Tifa and Crumbl Cookies at The Shoppes, 30770 Russell Ranch Road, from 12pm-3pm and will feature caroling, live music, arts and crafts, photo booth, hot cocoa and more.

There will also be a Holiday Giving and Food Drive for Casa Pacifica and Manna Conejo Valley Food Bank.

Local community leaders, non-profit groups, businesses and invited to join in and sing a song. To sign your group up, go to www.WLV.org/SingAlong and click on the link to register. The deadline to register is Wednesday, December 4th.

2024 Simi Valley SnowFest Event on Sunday, November 3rd

Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District is holding its annual SnowFest event on Sunday, November 3, 2024 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at Rancho Madera Community Park, 556 Lake Park Dr. Simi Valley.

Event to include sledding, snow lots, kids’ attractions, vendor expo and food vendors. $10 for all day wristband for snow slides and kids’ attractions. Free access to snow lot.

Simi Valley Police Department Touch A Truck Event on Saturday, November 30, 2024

The Simi Valley Police Department is hosting its annual Touch A Truck event on Saturday, November 20, 2024 from 9am to 2pm at the Simi Valley City Hall front parking lot, 2929 Tapo Canyon Road. In lieu of admission, please bring new, unwrapped toys to be donated to Spark of Love.

There will be trucks and equipment on display from the Simi Valley Police Department, Ventura County Fire, Public Works, and various other public and private organizations. Everyone, especially kids will be allowed access to these vehicles and adults will be able to interact with those persons that use the vehicles and equipment.

The purpose of this event is to raise funds to not only support the Holiday Toy Drive, but also to support unfunded programs, services and technology for the Simi Valley Police Department. These include support for the K9 program, "Save a Life" AED program, Police Explores, SWAT, Bicycle Patrol, Every 15 Minutes program, Crime Prevention, Parenting Project, and many other worthy programs.

"Day of the Horse" Showdeo Event in Thousand Oaks on Saturday, October 26, 2024

Don’t miss this great tradition celebrating the history and culture of our vibrant equestrian community in the Conejo Valley.

Day of the Horse on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 11 am to 2 pm is a free family event open to the public and is full of fun activities aimed to educate and spread knowledge about horses. This open house event is located on our 30-acre Conejo Creek Equestrian Park that is part of the Conejo Recreation & Park District.

Activities will include horse riding demonstrations, barrel racing, dressage, kids activities and more. Several food trucks will be on hand. Very entertaining!

22nd Annual City of Westlake Village City Celebration Event on Saturday, October 19, 2024

The City of Westlake Village's 22nd Annual City Celebration will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 3pm to 8pm. Event will feature the White Oak Elementary Family Fun Fair, food trucks, craft beer, wine, family friendly activities, live performances, and more.

Purchase an unlimited ride bracelet for $40 or individual ride tickets for $5 each. One ride requires one ticket. Purchase your tickets at the event or visit the White Oak PFC website at whiteoakpfc.org/shop to purchase ahead of time. All proceeds benefit the White Oak PFC.

Dia de los Muertos Celebration at Santa Paula Art Museum and Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery on November 2, 2024

Guests of all ages are invited to celebrate Día de los Muertos at the Santa Paula Art Museum and Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery on Saturday, November 2, 2024 (hours and activities vary by location). Admission is free. This free, family-friendly community celebration offers traditional arts and craft-making activities, mariachi music, Aztec and Folklórico dancers, face painting, altar installations, and more. Día de los Muertos attire is encouraged!

Visitors can begin at either location and proceed to the next. Pick up a Día de los Muertos passport at either site, collect a stamp at both locations, and return it to Santa Paula Cemetery to be entered into a free raffle prize drawing.
