The Camarillo-Somis Pleasant Valley Lions Club in partnership with the Pleasant Valley School District is proud to present the 18th Annual 5K Peel Out, 1 Mile Bananarama Run (14 and under) and 1/4 Mile Cub Run (10 and under) on Sunday, April 30, 2017. The event will be held at the beautiful Camarillo Ranch House on a flat course with plenty of post-race giveaways. There will also be a Wellness Expo.

Pants Off Racing's 4th annual Almost 10/5K, Again for Pancreatic Cancer is planned at Malibu Creek State Park on October 22, 2016 and will include a 1 mile fun run/walk, 5K and 10K distances. All proceeds from the event are used to assist families and support pancreatic cancer victims.

Pants Off Racing's mission is to provide service to those lives affected by pancreatic cancer through time, energy, and goodwill; to integrate and unite generations, through sport participation, while creating public awareness about pancreatic cancer.

4th Annual Ventura Eco-Extreme Mud Challenge on Saturday, April 23, 2016

The 4th Annual Ventura Eco Xtreme Mud Challenge presented by the Ventura Police Officers Association is planned for Saturday, April 23, 2016 starting at 10:30 am. The goal of this event is to create a fun and challenging adventure while raising money for the Dee Dowell Foundation.

The course, approximately 3 miles of obstacles, steep hills, and mud, will take place in downtown Ventura just above Grant Park at the training grounds for the Ventura Police Department. This location will provide exceptional views of the city and ocean in a unique and natural environment. The course terrain is primarily on trails and fire roads with extreme hills, killer steps, professionally built obstacles and several places where you will get extremely muddy. You will get wet and you will get muddy. Be sure to bring towels and a change of clothing. This event is certain to test both your physical strength and mental toughness!

The Kids 1K is for kids 14 & under and features many of the same obstacles found in the full 5K mud challenge such as the mud pit bottle neck, cargo net climb, and the traverse of death. All registered kids who finish will receive a prize.

The Camarillo Kiwanis Club is hosting the 3rd Annual Joggin' for the Noggin' 5K/10K Run to Cure Brain Cancer at Pleasant Valley Fields, 152 Westpark Court, Camarillo on Saturday, May 21, 2016. Flat course along the Calleguas Creek Bike Path. 5K starts at 7:30 am and 10K starts at 8 am.  Proceeds from event to benefit the UCLA Neuro-Oncology Program.
