HOPE4Kids Festival and 5K/10K/Kids Run in Thousand Oaks on April 28, 2018

The Hope4Kids Festival and Run will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Lake Sherwood, 2300 Norfield Ct, Thousand Oaks 8am to 2pm.

Please join us on Saturday April 28th from 8am to 2pm in raising funds for foster, former foster, abused and neglected children in Ventura County and the Conejo Valley! The HOPE4Kids Festival & Run is a community effort sponsored by RaisingHOPE, Inc. to raise awareness of the needs of youth in foster care and raise funds to meet the needs of youth in care. Monies raised by this event will go directly to assist foster youth including but not limited to paying for orthodontic treatment, special medical equipment, textbooks for college, and extracurricular activities such as sports equipment, camps, musical instruments, arts, driver's education courses and more!

Course starts at the gorgeous, exclusive Lake Sherwood in the hills of Thousand Oaks. The festival and starting line is between the two Lake Sherwood property gates off of Potrero.

Please bring your whole family and join us for our FREE Festival which will feature a silent auction, booths by community organizations, food trucks, a free kidzone (bounce houses, gaming truck, reptiles and more) and stage performances. Entry into the fair is free to the community. We also feature a Foster Gallery with video and photo biographies of children in need of families.

The 2018 AIDS Walk Ventura takes place Saturday, March 3rd at Plaza Park in Ventura. Check-in and entertainment starts:at 8:30am and walk starts at 10am.

SummerFest 3000 Meter Run in Ventura on Saturday, June 3, 2017

The SummerFest 3000 Meter Run will take place on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Ventura Unified School District facility at 255 W. Stanley Ave, Ventura. Fast out and back course along the Ventura-Ojai bike path starting at 8am. This is a friendly low key event to encourage our youth to exercise and live a healthy lifestyle. Entry fees kept at a minimum to encourage participation. Entry for kids is free. Race shirts and awards will not be given, however, the event will be timed and. elementary and middle school entrants will receive finishers' medals. Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley Family Fun Run 2K Mud Dash on Sat, April 15th

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley invite youth to ‘get a little muddy’ at the Family Fun Run 2K Mud Dash on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Redwood Middle School, 233 W. Gainsborough Road, Thousand Oaks.  Check-in begins at 8 a.m. and the first wave of runners starts at 9 a.m.

The 2k course is designed for the entire family to participate and starts and finishes at the same point.  Participants will have fun as they loop in and out of tires, jump hay bales, climb mini-walls and, of course, get a little dirty!  Finisher medals and t-shirts will be provided to all participants.  An Easter Egg Hunt will also be part of the event beginning at 10:30 a.m.  Music will be provided by Oakheart County Music Festival.

The Family Fun Run is presented by Logix Federal Credit Union and Variety, The Children’s Charity.  The cost for early registration is $10 for 9-year-old and under & after-school members and $20 for 10-year-old and up.  Day-of-race entry is $15 for 9-year-old and under & after-school members and $30 for 10-year-old and up.

Calabasas High Cross Country and Track Teams Host 5K Fun Run on Saturday, Feb 25th

The Calabasas High School Cross Country and Track teams are hosting the Team Something Yellow 5K Fun Run and 400 Meter Kids' Dash on Saturday, February 25th at 3:30pm.

Proceeds support the Kevin Cordasco Foundation: Something Yellow & Concern Foundation, in support of former CHS student Kevin Cordasco. Cordasco had neuroblastoma at age 10 but has not let that get in the way of his accomplishments. He will be at the event.

The Super Run 5k at San Buenaventura State Park in Ventura on Saturday, April 22, 2017 is a superhero themed run where you become a real life superhero!  Grab your cape and fly over to for a 5k fun run, music, festivities and more.  

Every participant gets an authentic event SUPERHERO CAPE and collectable run bib.  The finishers get a super finishers medal!

3rd Annual 5K/10K Run to Cure Brain Cancer in Camarillo on Saturday, May 21st

The Camarillo Kiwanis Club is hosting the 3rd Annual Joggin' for the Noggin' 5K/10K Run to Cure Brain Cancer at Pleasant Valley Fields, 152 Westpark Court, Camarillo on Saturday, May 21, 2016. Flat course along the Calleguas Creek Bike Path. 5K starts at 7:30 am and 10K starts at 8 am.  Proceeds from event to benefit the UCLA Neuro-Oncology Program. 2nd Annual Camarillo Rotary "Biking, Brews & BBQ" on Saturday, September 12th
