Rancho Simi Recreation & Park District presents its Junk in the Trunk swap meet at the Rancho Santa Susana Community Center Parking Lot from 8am to 12pm on Saturday, September 28, 2024 and Saturday, October 19, 2024.

The 52nd Annual Harvest Festival® Original Art & Craft Show is planned for October 4-6, 2024 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. Family-owned and operated, the beloved tradition returns with the nation’s finest artists and crafters eager to showcase their newest creations for a one-of-kind shopping experience unlike any other.

The Festival offers a full day of fun for all ages with more than 24,000 handmade creations from hundreds of exhibitors, specialty foods, strolling performers, a KidZone, demonstrations, contests, and more. The event also gives back by supporting local charities in the community.

With such a colossal collection of artistry all under one roof, there is always something new to discover at the west coast’s largest and most prestigious indoor showcase. From jewelry, ceramics, blown glass and woodcarvings, to holiday décor, clothing, eclectic keepsakes, specialty foods, accessories, furniture, ornaments and more, each item is an expression of originality from artists who are share their passions with a personal touch.

General admission is $9. Seniors (62+) and military are $7. Youth (13-17) are $4, and it’s free to kids 12 and under. Hours are Friday and Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm. Parking charged by the VC Fairgrounds is $10.

2024 Gold Coast Gem Show at Ventura County Fairgrounds the Weekend of May 24-26

The Gold Coast Gem Show is planned for May 24-26, 2024 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds, 10 W. Harbor Boulevard, Ventura. Admission is $8 (kids 12 and under free with paid adult). Hours 10am to 5pm Friday/Saturday and 10am to 4pm Sunday.

The Conejo Recreation & Park District’s Kids' Swap Meet is back on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 8:00am to 12:00 noon at the Thousand Oaks Community Center, 2525 N. Moorpark Rd. Thousand Oaks.

Kids can earn some money and become young entrepreneurs by selling toys, supplies and equipment they no longer need or use, during this family swap meet featuring local families as the vendors. Parents and kids can reserve an 8 x 8 spot to sell children's old toys, clothes, games, and furniture.

The Kids Swap Meet is a great shopping opportunity for parents, teachers, and day care professionals! Admission to shop at the Kids Swap Meet is always FREE.

Ojai Art Center Presents Its 47th Annual Art in the Park Event on May 25-26, 2024

The Ojai Art Center hosts its 47th annual Art in the Park celebration on Memorial Day weekend, May 25th and 26th, 2024, from 10am to 5pm.

Art in the Park is an annual tradition started in 1977 by local artists at the Ojai Art Center to give artists a place to sell their work during Memorial Day weekend. Nestled amongst the oaks in beautiful Libbey Park, a natural setting is created to showcase the rich mixture of works in a variety of mediums. Art in the Park has enjoyed a long tradition of displaying quality art. Presented by the Ojai Art Center, the oldest non-profit art center in California, the festival attracts artists from near and far. The relaxed atmosphere and approachable artists draws crowds (between 3,000 – 5,000) from Ojai and neighboring communities.

The Ojai Art Center is the oldest multi-purpose nonprofit art center in California, has been providing a place for the arts and art-related activities for more than 80 years.
