12th Annual Thousand Oaks Kiwanis BrewFest on Sunday, August 4, 2024

The 12th Annual Kiwanis TO BrewFest will be held on Sunday, August August 4, 2024 at Conejo Creek Park North (behind the Thousand Oaks Library on Janss Road) from 2 PM to 6 PM.

Unlimited pours by breweries, wineries, and spirit vendors, unlimited food tasting from local restaurants, silent auction, and live music. NEW this year, we will have a non-alcoholic brew section! Attendees receive a limited edition BrewFest collector glass (while supplies last). Attendees will also have an opportunity to vote for The People's Choice Awards for their favorite brewery, wine, and food vendors.

Early-bird, general admission pricing is $65 until May 31st, and $75 thereafter. There's also a limited quantity VIP Experience admission for $100, which allows early entrance into the event (1 PM) and includes VIP parking.

2024 Fireworks Spectacular in Westlake Village on Thursday, July 4th

The annual 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular hosted by the City of Westlake Village is planned for Thursday, July 4, 2024.

Fireworks will be launched from the Westlake Village Golf Course at approximately 9:10pm.

Gates open at 5pm. No outside alcohol allowed - beer and wine will be available for purchase. Event to also include inflatable jumpers for the kids, putting contest, live music, various food trucks and more.

Offiste parking available at Townsgate and Lakeview Canyon Roads.

2024 Independence Day Fireworks Display in Santa Barbara on Thursday, July 4th

The City of Santa Barbara is hosting its annual Independence Day fireworks display beginning at 9pm on Thursday, July 4, 2024 off West Beach.

From noon to 8:50pm there will be live music at the West Beach bandstand. Free face painting 2pm on Stearns Wharf.

Radio simulcast on 92.9 KjEE or watch a livestream of the fireworks show at KEYT.com. The show is about 20 minutes long.

2024 Ventura 4th of July Street Fair and Children's Pushem-Pullem Parade

The City of Ventura 4th of July Street Fair will be back on Thursday, July 4, 2024 along Main Street from Fir Street to Ventura Avenue as well as side streets Chestnut, Oak and California.

The street fair features over 100 arts and crafts booths, live entertainment, food trucks, a car exhibit, and family-friendly activities. Open 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The event is free to the public.

The 47th Annual Children’s Pushem - Pullem Parade is at 10 a.m.  Assemble at Cemetery Park at Main and Crimea Streets at 9:30 a.m.  The parade proceeds down Main Street to Fir Street at 10 a.m.

Star Spangled Rock & Country Jam & Fireworks Extravaganza in Simi Valley on Thursday, July 4th

The Kiwanis Club of Simi Valley presents the Star-Spangled Rock & Country Jam and Fireworks Celebration on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at Rancho Santa Susana Community Park, 5005 E. Los Angeles Avenue. Gates open at 3pm. There will be live music, food and craft vendors, silent auction, beer and wine, a free kids’ zone (courtesy of Adventist Health Simi Valley) and, of course, fireworks at 9 pm (simulcast to music on 99.1 The Ranch).

2024 Point Mugu Surf Contest at Naval Base Ventura County (Open to the Public)

Naval Base Ventura County opens to the public on Saturday and Sunday, May 25-26 from 7am to 5pm for the 2024 Point Mugu Surf Contest. Free admission. Enter at the Las Posas Gate - gates open at 6:30am. Free parking - carpool if possible.

There will be over 100 surfers (registration is sold out), live music, vendors, contests and food trucks. Vendors are cash only.

Prohibited items include weapons, alcoholic beverages (unless purchased from vendor at the event), marijuana, pets (excluding service animals), glass containers, ice chests and coolers and drones.

Permitted items include cell phones, fanny packs, purses, small bags (clear is preferred), cameras, folding chairs, towels, blankets and surfboards.

2024 Heritage Square Summer Concert Series on Friday Nights, June 14 to August 16

Oxnard's Heritage Square Summer Concert Series returns in 2024 for another 10 week run, from June 14th to August 16th. Concerts start at 6pm and end at 8:30pm, with a half hour break at 7pm.

The concerts offer entertainment to suit every musical preference - styles range from Reggae to Big Band and from Latin Jazz to Rock.

2024 4th of July Celebration at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley

To celebrate our nation’s 248th birthday, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library is hosting a day full of family-fun activities. This year’s celebration includes patriotic concerts, family entertainment, games, crafts, and more. All 4th of July activities are free; admission rates apply to view the Reagan Museum, Air Force One Pavilion and the Library’s current temporary exhibit, Defending America and the Galazy: Star Wars and SDI.

Once the main parking lot is full, guests will be directed to park on Presidential Drive or in one of the Library’s offsite lots. Complimentary shuttles will be running to bring guests to the Reagan Library.
