The former Bandits BBQ Camarillo (closed in March 2023) location at 1980 Ventura Blvd. is transforming into 999 Pizza and Tiki 999 Camarillo - yes, another tiki bar, a couple blocks away from the future House of Bamboo Tiki Lounge. bb.q Chicken Coming Soon to the Agoura Hills City Mall

The space previously home to Michael's Pizza in the Agoura Hills City Mall at 5891 Kanan Road will be occupied bb.q Chicken, a Korean fried chicken franchise, with over 3,500 locations in 57 countries, including nearby locations in Tarzana and Northridge. Their menu includes a variety of sauces available as a whole chicken, boneless, and traditional wings. They also serve classic Korean street food, Ddeok-Bokki, made from rice cakes and fish cakes and kimchi fried rice. More info at bbqchicken.com.

WeVINO Restaurant & Wine Lounge Westlake Village opens for lunch service starting tomorrow, Tax Day, April 15th, from noon to 2pm, then continues lunch service only until the 29th, when it also opens for dinner service at 6pm. WeVINO offers a "Nouvelle Italian menu - modern, refined interpretations of Italian classics," featuring ingredients imported from Italy. "Each dish is crafted to complement a cellar of over 5,000 wines from around the world." WeVINO will also offer Enomatic machines that offer a curated selection of global wines available by the taste, sip, or glass."

Superba Food + Bread Now Open at The Commons at Calabasas

Superba Food + Bread is now open at The Commons at Calabasas, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. The grand opening was last Friday, March 28th. Come here for baked items, breakfast dishes all day, bowls, salads, sandwiches, and more. I tried it out this past week and it was quite good.

Other Superba locations in Venice, Hollywood, Pasadena, and North Hollywood. Why is it called Superba? Well, it could be the fact that their original Venice location at 1900 S. Lincoln Blvd is a block away from Superba Ave.

Old Oaks Steakhouse confirmed it will be opening on Wednesday, April 9th, for dinner seating from 5-10pm. Bar will stay open from 10pm to midnight.
