President Reagan's 114th Birthday Celebration at Reagan Library Simi Valley on February 6, 2025

President Reagan's 114th Birthday Celebration is planned at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley on Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

To honor President Ronald Reagan on the anniversary of his birthday, the President of the United States has designated that a program be held at President Reagan’s Memorial Site at The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library each year.

The Commanding General at United States Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton will conduct the ceremony, which will commence at 11:00 a.m. with a music prelude beginning at 10:30 a.m. by the Camp Pendleton Marine Division Band. The ceremony includes a color guard, chaplain, a brass quintet, a 21-gun salute, the placing of an official White House wreath on President Reagan’s gravesite and keynote remarks by Secretary Robert Gates. Dr. Robert M. Gates served as U.S. Secretary of Defense from December 2006 to July 2011. During Ronald Reagan’s presidency, he served as Deputy Director of CIA from January 1982 until April 1986, Deputy Director of Central Intelligence from April 1986 until January 1989, and as Acting Director of the CIA from December 1986 through May of 1987. He served as Director of Central Intelligence from 1991-1993. He is the only career officer in CIA's history to rise from entry-level employee to Director.

The ceremony will be held outdoors at The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, located at 40 Presidential Drive, Simi Valley.
