Brats Brothers Gourmet Sausage Grill is Coming to Newbury Park This Fall

Update 12/19/12: Brats Brothers Gourmet Sausage Grill is opening its Newbury Park location TOMORROW, December 20th at lunchtime. Brats Brothers is also hosting an Opening Party on Saturday night, December 22nd starting at 6PM! with food samplings and 50% off beer!

Posted 10/6/12: The first clue that Brats Brothers Gourmet Sausage Grill is coming to Newbury Park, at 2160 Newbury Road, Suite A (the former home of beloved Lamppost Pizza, which closed its doors on December 4, 2011), is the sign on the front door.

The second clue is mention of the opening of the Newbury Park/Thousand Oaks location on the Brats Brothers website at www.bratsbrothers.com/locations.

Confirmation was obtained in my call to the Brats Brothers on Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks. Yes indeed, Brats Brothers is coming to the Conejo Valley sometime they're hoping in late November or early December. Cool!

According to the Brats Brothers Facebook page, the restaurant, which opened in 2007, is a gourmet sausage grill that offers a variety of traditional and exotic bratwursts (pork, veal, beef, chicken, ostrich, buffalo, alligator...), an array of tasty side dishes (cheese spaetzle, Bavarian Tater Tots, Sauerkraut, Chili, Fries), wiener schnitzel, weekly specials, pancake souffle (Kaiserschmarren), apple strudel and a huge selection of premium beers, including (on tap) Spaten, Paulaner, Hofbrau, Erdinger, Fraziskaner, Chimay and numerorus bottled beer selections.
