The Cheesecake Factory Looks Like it May Be Opening a 2nd Ventura County Location at The Collection at RiverPark in Oxnard

Great news for Ventura County fans of The Cheesecake Factory! At long last a 2nd Ventura County location looks like it will be opening perhaps sometime next year at The Collection at RiverPark in Oxnard.

Beau P gave us the heads up via the Conejo Valley Guide Facebook Page. This new Cheesecake Factory location, assuming they move forward with it, will be located in what was formerly LOFT, 600 Town Center Drive, which is adjacent to the pop-up fountain and near Lazy Dog Restaurant.

This is really a momentous occasion in my mind as for decades, the only Ventura County Cheesecake Factory location has been at The Oaks mall in Thousand Oaks. And its always so popular and busy! Now we will have another option. I’m anticipating it will be open by mid-2019 but we shall see.

2018 is the 40th anniversary of The Cheesecake Factory. It is now a $2.3 billion global company that operates 215 company-owned full-service restaurants in North America (including 199 The Cheesecake Factories and 14 Grand Lux Cafes). There are also 21 licensed Cheesecake Factory locations in the Middle East, Mexico and China.

The company trades on NASDAQ under stock symbol CAKE and has a market valuation of just north of $2 billion. That’s a lot of cheesecake!

The Cheesecake Factory’s corporate headquarters is right here in Calabasas Hills, at 26901 Malibu Hills Road. The corporate support center includes an 88,000 sq ft main facility and a 19,000 sq ft training facility on five acres. There’s also a 60,000 sq ft bakery facility on three acres.
