The City of Oxnard, Disabled American Veterans, Salvation Army, Knights of Columbus, Military Officers Association of America and Boy Scouts of America are hosting a Veterans Day Ceremony at Plaza Park in Downtown Oxnard, 500 South C Street, on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 11 a.m. The outdoor ceremony will take place next to the Veterans Memorial at Plaza Park. Event will feature speakers that include Captain Robert “Barr” Kimnach III, Commanding Officer, Naval Base Ventura County, Mayor John C. Zaragoza, Jess Herrera, President of the Oxnard Harbor District Board of Commissioners and Sal Gonzales, First Lieutenant, U.S. Army Veteran.

Celebrate with Santa Claus on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at the Simi Valley Town Center. There will also be 17 tons of fresh snow at center court for the party, which starts at 8am. Snow shows at 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30pm. Also enjoy holiday music.

The Santa Paula Rotary Pumpkin Patch at the Limoneira Ranch, 12471 Foothill Road, Santa Paula will be back every Saturday and Sunday this October 2022.
Admission to the pumpkin patch is $12 (2 and under free) and includes hay ride, hay maze, hay pyramid, live music and plenty of great photo opps. Additional activities are $5 and up. The Corn MAiZE is $12. Other activities include corn maize, pony rides, face painting, the "Pumpkin Chucker" and more. No reservations needed - you can buy tickets online or at the door.
Families can easily spend a full day at the patch enjoying music, delicious fall food favorites, and old-fashioned hay wagon rides through acres of pumpkins, squash and gourds.
Hours are 10am to 5 pm on October 1-2, 8-9, 15-16, 22-23 and 39-30.

During both events, visitors can take photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus, visit with live reindeer, listen to carolers, write letters to Santa and drop them off in our North Pole-bound mailbox and enjoy winter-ready treats, including s'mores and hot cocoa. Malibu Country Mart celebrates the holiday season throughout December by transforming the seaside shopping and dining destination into a winter wonderland. Trimmed with festive holiday décor, the shopping destination features a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, a light-up menorah for Hanukkah and twinkling lights.

The public is invited to experience what the holidays were like in late 19th century Ventura with a free Holiday Candlelight Tour of the City of Ventura’s historic Olivas Adobe, located at 4200 Olivas Park Drive – on Sunday, December 11, 2022. Tours take place from 5:30-7:30PM.

The Olivas Adobe Historical Interpreters, in historical costumes, will take you on a tour through the house, decorated in different holiday traditions, while performing historical skits.
